Precision Tutoring for GCSE
Surgical diagnostics, mapped trajectories, and session-by-session adaptation. Built by our family for yours.
The Problem
GCSE tutoring can be expensive and inconsistent. It's hard to keep a live cumulative record of every gain, every challenge, and the subtle adjustments needed to help the learner excel in their weaker subjects.
That matters. Because most learners don't need more content. They need someone — or something — that can operate with real precision. So we designed an AI tutoring system tailored specifically to individual students:
Establish their baseline competency
Distinguish between weak knowledge and weak confidence
Identify the topics that will move the needle fastest
Adjust the next session based on what happened in the last one
Keep the learner moving toward a clear exam goal
Our tutors are optimal for GCSE because the goal is clear, the timeframe is defined, and the gaps are diagnosable on a per session basis. A precision tutor responds to weaknesses as they surface. Instead of offering broad support, they are built around the performance of the learner, refining instruction as they move forward toward test dates.
How It Works
Diagnose first, then deploy around the specific learner and their exam-date trajectory.
We begin by looking at the learner's subject, goals, timeline, strengths, challenges, and weekly availability. This gives us the practical frame for the work ahead.
The first step is always a baseline assessment. It establishes current understanding, identifies strengths and gaps, and locates a sensible starting point.
We build a trajectory that maps the learner's current position, the target they're working toward, and the sequence of topics and sessions most likely to get them there efficiently.
We assemble the tutor around that learner — their profile, trajectory, and relevant AQA curriculum materials. A tutor built for a specific student and goal.
Structured sessions guided step by step. The tutor previews tasks, works through problems one at a time, reviews thinking, and corrects carefully. Typically three sessions per week.
After each session, a journal entry records what improved, what needs attention, pacing, and recommended next focus. This gives the tutor continuity.
The tutor adapts continuously — identifying patterns, revisiting weak areas, responding to changes in pace or confidence, and keeping sessions aligned with what the learner actually needs.

About
This system was developed by parent and his own children, then tested and refined across learners at different ages and stages.
The first major deployment focus has been GCSE, where the combination of clear goals, fixed timelines, and diagnosable gaps makes precision tutoring particularly effective.
The Team

Co-founder · Age 12
Desha's education spans wilderness school, Steiner, homeschooling, and Country Day across the US and UK. She's arts- and production-focused with a love for filmmaking, writing, visual storytelling. In third grade, she wrote her first book, Philip and the Sea, exploring environmental responsibility through narrative. Now in Year 8 in the UK, she uses daddee.ai to build trajectories for her GCSEs. Desha loves turning ideas into finished work; from short videos to upcycled fashion to nature-based art.

Frankie's learning journey has led her from nature school, Waldorf, homeschooling, private, and project-based schooling in the UK. She's a pattern-spotter and loves putting things into order. A constant reader (especially of fantasy and mysteries!) Frankie's especially proud of designing her own Hermione Granger math tutor GPT. She is now developing character-based GPTs for the International Baccalaureate program. Her best friend Charlotte lives in Sonoma.

Stephen is a solo parent and co-founder of daddee.ai. He began as a music video director creating politically themed videos for artists including Eminem, 50 Cent, and Ad-Rock. He later moved into guerrilla filmmaking, shooting award-winning films in conflict zones around the world. He has since founded multiple technology companies focused on systems design. When his children weren't being challenged academically at school, he started building GPT tutors co-designed by the kids… and daddee dot ai was born.
